WE ARE HAPPY TO SAY SBA 2020 SHOWCASE TEAM WILL BE TRAVELING THIS SUMMER COMPETING AGAINST SOME OF THE BEST TALENT IN THE SOUTHERN REGION OF THE UNITED STATES. WE WILL BE VISITING AND PLAYING AT COLLEGE CAMPUSES IN THE SOUTHERN REGION OF TEXAS. THIS WILL BE A EXCITING EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE IN THE SBA ORGANIZATION!!!

THE DELGADO FAMILY
This year, SBA reached out to Leanne and her family to offer assistance during the holiday season. Leanne is a single mother of three children, ages 16, 10, and 5. Her youngest, Eli, was diagnosed with Leukemia in February. Due to the nature of his illness, he is expected to continue chemotherapy for the next 2-3 years. Because of his frequent chemo treatments, she has had to sigificantly decrease the days/hours she is able to work, thus creating a huge financial burden for their family.
In addition, they were forced to move out of their apartment due to mold issues, yet are still required to fulfill rent through February. They are currently all living with her parents, who are retired, and on a fixed income.

This fall SBA’s showcase team has performed well in their first two PG tournaments. They finished both tournaments with 2-1 records. The team is going into their last tournament for the fall this weekend (Nov 23rd) and is prepared to have another great showing.
